Jacob's Ladder Team

This ministry has been suspended until we are able to find a replacement team leader qualified to evaluate the work requested to be done and organize the team to fulfill those tasks.

Beginning in 2003 the Jacob’s Ladder team has helped renovate, restore and maintain facilities of non-profit organizations throughout Monroe, Ontario and Wayne Counties. The primary focus has been in the City of Rochester. For example, this team provided an estimated $10,000 worth of labor in 2007, so that organizations could spend their financial resources on ministering to those in need instead of on building maintenance.

Organizations served include Community Lutheran Ministry, Foodlink, Little Lakes Church, Risego, Inc., Catholic Family Centers, RAIHN, Parsells Community Church, Keys to the Kingdom, Rochester Family Mission and many others.

This team usually meets twice a month on Saturdays, between 8am-noon. We are currently seeking a new team leader for this ministry. Please contact Garry Manuel if you are interested in this opportunity, or if you would like to volunteer or discuss possible assistance from the Jacob's Ladder team.
